The Swedish Road Administration works to make your journey on roads in Sweden as easy, safe and environmentally-sound as possible. We are responsible for issues relating to roads, transport, vehicles and road users.

For a great many years, and more recently based on ”Vision Zero”, Sweden has endeavoured to create the safest possible road transport system. Several physical measures were undertaken to this end, and the next stage is to make active use of ITS and telematics applications.
