Workload estimation and dialogue management

Driver distraction has received greater focus in today’s transport system development, particularly considering the growing increase in the support, entertainment and information systems in the driver environment in modern vehicles. It is therefore important that the use of these systems does not have a negative effect on driving ability and consequently on road safety.

To have a positive impact on driving safety it is necessary to be able to adapt the information flow to and from” intelligent” help systems, etc, to the driving situation at hand.
